I recently graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. At Rutgers, I earned my bachelor's in Chemical Engineering. During my time studying, I was a leader in many positions as well as a hard worker. I was a Chem-E Car Captain at Rutgers. As a Chem-E Car Captain, I worked alongside my peers and sharpened both my readership and work skills. Throughout this role, I held workshops with other engineering students and taught them several different methods of building cars. It was a competitive role, yet it was very fun. I also have experience as a teacher's assistant and a recitation mentor. As a recitation mentor, I graded quizzes and exams along with grading homework for a Precalculus recitation section. I have tutored elementary school students and college level students. Unfortunately, I do lack experience tutoring high school students. However, I am currently in the process of gaining that experience. Tutoring, leadership roles, and assisting have all taught me many things. All three of these experiences were rewarding and fulfilling. When I am not busy tutoring, I am trying to figure out complicated crossword puzzles, writing poetry, making delicious meals, and running. I also have a love for live music, particularly the band Brand New, which just so happens to be my favorite band at the moment.
